I listened to his press statement on Afghanistan and
wondered why he did not sound his usual foot in
mouth self. Then it became obvious as he kept looking
to his left. He would have been reading a prepared
statement from a teleprompter.
Before the acolytes jump on me over this, I have no criticism
of Trump, for his use of a teleprompter. After all, reading a speech
prepared by his minders is bound to be more coherent that the
stuff he otherwise garbled out, So no criticism from me for that.
I do recall here though the usual culprits rabbeting on about
Barack Obama’s using a teleprompter on occasions. They went feral,
stupidly trying to diminish him on that basis.
