Trump Effect on MEU

Whether you love or hate him, he has definitely started his second term aggressively! Some big decisions so far and more coming which I suspect will be of benefit to the wider commodities markets, but especially MEU.

Today he announced the largest AI infrastructure project in history - $500billion for a new US company called 'Stargate'.
Personally, I am a bit fearful of where AI is heading and wish we could go back to more simple times, but this is the current state of the world, and we might as well take advantage of it from an investment perspective.

Rare Earth Elements ("REE's") are important for AI technology:
- Permanent Magnets: REE's like neodymium and dysprosium are used to create strong permanent magnets, which are essential for the motors and actuators in AI hardware, including robotics and autonomous systems;
- Semiconductors: Certain REE's are used in the production of semiconductors, which are the backbone of AI processors and other electronic components; &
- Optical and Laser Systems: REE's such as yttrium and erbium are used in optical fibers and laser systems, which are crucial for data transmission and processing in AI applications.

I suspect in the next couple of weeks we will see some big announcements in relation to robotics too. Especially after he had Elon Musks help during the election, I am sure Trump is going to return the favour.

Robotics is where the real fun starts for MEU:
