It's Mao Tse Tung who wrote the propaganda of the Little Red Book and led the people into communism, and it was Deng who led them into economic reform.
You need to get your facts straight as you're confusing similar but in many ways very different ideologies. The results are different too. Communist Russia was a centrally planned state, and the economics failed.
China has combined central planning with private enterprise but has many government owned enterprises. Small enterprises exist. But there is a lack of medium sized businesses.
In terms of tolerance of dissent there are clearly parallels. Just don't confuse the ideologies because it makes your arguments look a bit poorly informed.
