His rapid swing to the centre will keep the Press guessing and his enemies looking behind them for a knife. A good Machiavellian would give, say, Romney Sec of State and sack him after 1 year. Revenge is in his quiver.
Even if he puts his business ahead of the Presidency he has smashed the glass-gag forced onto the West by liberals and this will be part of his legacy. All those taboo subjects are on the table.
