I happen to agree with you, however, my post was aimed at the right of hot copper who will scoop to any low to justify their position.
But as far as Trump is concerned, he was elected to be president of the USA. He did not hide anything in his campaign. He is doing exactly what he promised. We get rubbish posted that he is playing to his small base of red necks etc etc. That is a nonsense. The Republican voters of the USA voted to a man for him. And that is who he addresses in every thing he does. There are very few Republicans who oppose him.
But we in Australia are in no position to judge Trump. We are the ones who started the Defend our Borders fro refugees. other countries are copying us! Remember the first thing he said to Turnbull? "You are worst than me!" Never truer words spoken.
