The transition to the level of automation that would cause this mass job displacement will be a short term boom in itself.
Now is still only the beginning and the transition time will exceed Trumps presidency even if he does 2 terms.
So while yes it will definitely have a large effect on employment in the future , it wont be an issue for Trump other than to get behind it for a short term boost.
