The companies using robots etc are no friend of the working class and the lower middle class.

Driverless taxis, eg, will put thousands of unskilled drivers, world wide, on the scrap heap. In what way is Uber, the culprit, a benefit to the human race? Do they pay tax? Do they pay their drivers a minimum wage or is it about $12 per hour?

Driverless cars may be easily sabotaged by angry ex drivers. This would cause chaos on the roads.

How are the companies that pay next to no tax a benefit to the human race? Why is it they seem to be strongly pro Democrat?
Is it possible that the Democrats are privately cheering them on to destroy jobs with robots? If so then why would the unions be supporting the Democrats?

I am suggesting a "Robot Pause" pending in depth investigations into what is going on.

A mass of unskilled, poorly educated scrap heap of idle proletariats is a recipe for trouble. Especially when the elite are living the visible good life.

Karl Marx in Capital revealed that it is only living labour that will produce a surplus value. Machines contain dead labour which is depreciated. No idea where IT fits here.
