it's not about economics

politicians don't care about economics - politicians only care about one thing - election or re-election

the saying that 'it's the economy stupid' -------- really is quite misleading

what is true is that 'it's what the economy appears like stupid'.

People will vote with regard to their pocket - that is very true.

And politicians play to that. But, what's behind that - whether it's large debt or large investment in education or whatever --

that doesn't ring with voters - they can only see several pay packets in front - and what they see is what is of interest to politicians

politicians are NOT interested in setting a nation up - they are way too short sighted.

I believe that it IS possible to bring the people in the left behind gap with a political movement - but,

whilst it's simple enough - it takes a slog to set it up - first, you have to convince your own numpties to go with nation building -

and there - right at square one - if you stand in front of your numptie self serving egotistical wannabe leaders -

you get a glazed look - right from the get go.

From there - IF you ever got past square one - the slog is on. You would have to convince business (who make your or break you). then, you have to run the yarn all the way down the line to the ballot box

it is - whilst simple - a very difficult road in a society which is culturally 'I'm alright jack' 'who cares' 'what's in it for me'

but, I believe it's possible.

It may well be possible if one went to business first - it stacks up business wise - but, it's against bottom line culture - if one could ever get past square one with business in their bottom line thinking ---------- that would probably change the entire ballgame

but it would take a very special person to bring the new ball onto the ground - and, there is no such person that I see ------ in Oz

not a lot in Europe that I know of.

don't know about the UK - but, a hard field to plough at best.

I doubt if it will ever happen before the great reset - and I don't mean the reset as we normally think ------------ I mean the reset that WILL happen when humans can no longer gain income from selling their labour - which will happen - when?? don't know - but when it does - the entire game changes anyway - like it or not.
