Nice to see a glimmer of humanity shown by the US President about the hideous things done to innocent people in Syria. He's on a collision course with Russia though, which is vetoing any sanction on Syria for use of chemical weapons.
We could almost pretend Trump has a backbone. But pretty soon there'll be a quiet reminder from Putin about what will appear on Wikileaks if Trump doesn't play ball. Then this concern for innocent people will become a thought bubble, and Trump will fold.
