    It is unfortunate to note that John Roberts, Chief Justice, may have also been compromised by blackmail.

    With both Roberts and Walton, my guess is that they are decent men who were blackmailed  in unusual circumstances for very specific
    decisions. I do not think they are "crooked judges"...they are simply very good men who may have had a  weakness or may have made a mistake for which they became vulnerable.

    Still and all,  it is alarming to think corruption could reach the Supreme Court.

    I'm sure Scalia was not a perfect man, either, though I might have agreed with his decisions more than other judges.

    And it is also alarming to admit that  there are people who could kill a Justice, and get away with it.
