Well if it's not safe to vote AND mail in ballots are a risk - delaying the election is a valid idea to explore. He stated multiple times it's not his preferred outcome but if in person voting is such a risk (lol) it's a reasonable option.
Would you send a cheque worth $50,000 in the mail? No, you wouldn't (unless you're brain dead). Votes are sacred and should not be treated any differently.
Regardless it won't and probably can't be changed - but it's always amusing to see how easy you TDS sufferers are triggered.
