Maybe Australia should ally with China against the US . China is on the up and up while the US is in decline. China has covid almost completely under control we could open up a travel bubble with China right now and get the tourism sector going again. Obviously it would be completely insane to open up to the US. We have a massive trade surplus with China and a trade deficit with the US so we would pay off the national debt so much faster.
I think it's a win win win every which way. Think I might write to my local member about it.
