Trump should be barred from running for the office of President of the USA

why?

because along with the office of President of the USA - the elected officer also becomes Commander in Chief.

And the powers of commander in chief allow the President almost sole overnight power to launch military strikes -----------

and this potential Commander in Chief ---- is legally disallowed from owning a gun - because he's a convicted felon

surely to heaven if a person is not allowed by law to own a gun - that they should not be allowed access to the biggest guns in the world - for use as they please  - the overnight powers and war powers of POTUS allow for just that

it's ridiculous and really needs a Supreme Court challenge on this point
