Not sure the Guardian is a good source of anything but the military has had significant funds since Trump came into office. They will save a lot of money by withdrawing from Syria as well as improving morale of the rank and file. Trump has the support of the military in a way his opponents can not have imagined. He shouldn’t have to do it this way, the democrats have voted for walls in the past, they make sense and they are just saying no to anything Trump proposes. People see this for what it is, grandstanding by a desperate group who oppose anything, whether it makes sense or not.
