It does indeed sound weird eagle but this is the world we now live in where it seems every other leader and those in power in western countries all suffer from a collective form of "white guilt" where it is seen as racist and politically incorrect to profess any kind of affinity or respect let alone admiration or pride in European/Western civilization. But in contrast anyone from a non-western background is applauded, praised and encouraged to express enormous pride in their heritage and culture. Thankfully Trump does not buy into this form of self flagellation.
