I know what you are saying but it is not going to get sorted anytime soon. Forgetting diplomacy will only escalate the problem and increase blowback. They already have a reputation problem in many areas of the world and this will not be sorted by conventional means. Military aggression will only strain western alliances and make it easier for extremists to recruit, not to mention further weakening their economy by supporting drawn out campaigns on multiple fronts.
Fundamental mistakes in policy caused this aggression, I just hope they don't make anymore. For that reason I'd probably like anyone over Trump.
