Of course not. Whilst it goes back longer we are talking about policy in the last 50 years, there was very little resentment before that. Some policy has angered and turned many people against the US. Nobody is disputing that, it is just fact. What I am saying is that I would rather see tension decrease rather than escalate. I hope the US can find someone smart enough to do that and I don't think it will be Trump. Sure you can go in all guns blazing but then what? The extremists would love the blowback. It would strengthen their numbers. Long campaigns on multiple fronts. How will that help the US or its Allies?
If you are talking about the horrible Sousse attack in Tunisia, that mostly targeted the British holidaying there.
