    That would be a very silly thing to do.

    Lynas would sign long term supply contracts with ROW users for RE's it can produce to provide them with stability, subject to bringing capacity online.

    Lynas raises capital (this time on its terms) to massively ramp up production post haste to meet ROW demand. Becomes THE dominant world player and leaves China largely irrelevant.

    But it won't happen - China is too smart to give them that opportunity.

    More likely a smaller scale version of that will develop over time as a slow burn - Lynas being the only significant dependable supplier will increase its sales, increase its capacity, modestly increase its prices and significantly increase its profits.

    Either way - Lynas is in a brilliant position to benefit from trade war uncertainty.
