Arm the teachers to intervene in an armed shooter situation?

John Hinckley shot Ronald Reagan (and 3 others) with a 6 round .22 calibre pistol, despite 6 armed and well trained law enforcement officers standing within a few feet of the President.
If Trump is convinced armed teachers confronting assailants, possibly packing AR-15's and high capacity magazines, to be a practical solution, perhaps he should replace his Secret Service detail with maths and geography teachers.
Once they've had a couple of weeks training, of course.
