    I don't think when the constitution was written they where thinking the average citizen should have the right to carry an assault rifle.

    So for starters have to ask is their any need to have assault rifles and other high powered weapons available?

    Sure in can be fun shooting stuff up with assault rifles and other high powered weapons, no reason you can't restrict that to places like paint ball ranges

    Then what is so wrong about people having to go to similar checks to that of getting a drivers licence?
