Become a teacher and you become a police officer and soldier at the same time!
Just when I thought it could not get worse Trump has gone full bore sounding like the NRA and promoting all teachers having guns as a solution to the school mass shootings.
He reckons that no-one will attempt to shoot school children because they will know teachers have guns.
I read a post here from a trump apologist who said days back that Trump was just making an off the cuff comment by suggesting guns for teachers as if to excuse him for the dopey idea. In the news this morning Trump has gone full bore on his suggestion and made it a keystone presentation before a large audience .
The NRA will love him as it sounds like taxes are to be used to buy more guns.
Next if more tragedy occurs he will suggest school prefects bear arms.
If that doesn’t work arm all the children.
Anyway, what a sad state affairs in the USA when the country has descended so low that children at school are not safe and the solution according to this nut-job President is that school teachers have to also become soldiers and bear arms. The USA is clearly declining and the gun culture could lead to mass social upheaval and one day could even degenerate to a civil war. Too many militias and extremist groups armed to the teeth are the recipe for such events. So sad that the US govt’s have become so inept and greedy that money and power predominates over sensible sociable policy!
