"rubbish about Russia trying to take over Ukr. NAH!". . if thats the case then why did Putin invade Ukraine? certainly wasn't anything to do with nazis.

just a Putin tried in Georgie, he wants to reclaim land that was once Soviet. its not about need for anything other than people and land and the wealth that comes from both being funnelled into Russian coffers.

but Putin has played a very intelligent game. he's re-jigged the economy by making it supply weapons instead of mundane community needs. then he did a grea deal (better than any deal Trump could devise) with China to supply more weapons and most of the community consumables. he's reinforced this deal with Nth Korea and India. as a consequence the Russian economy has been bolstered by these deals. Weapons made more cheaply than Russia could make them.

IF Trump pulls funding from Ukraine, my guess is that Ukraine will fall in a pitiful condition of destruction. Putin will likely leave Ukraine in devastation and poverty as a punishment while he turns his eye back to Georgia and then west to the Balkan states and beyond.

but Putin is mortal and he will die eventually. so the rest will be determined by the next Russian Tsar.
