@walbrook; after almost two and a half years Ukraine's future is being siphoned off by several NATO countries and especially by the USA, the UK and Germany.
It's apparent that Russia is establishing a wide 'No Mans's Land' between Russian territories and what's left of Ukraine - deploying minefields etc throughout that 'no man's land'. If and when it retreats from other parts of Ukraine it invades between now and any ceasefire all that will remain will be scorched earth.
The USA is however absolutely delighted with what's happening - it's trying to 'Make America G8 Again' by marketing its WMDs and munitions into NATO countries and nervous Nellies watching on in disbelief - just as it did throughout WW1 and WW2.
Incredibly stupid countries such as Australia are even signing up to hideously expensive WMDs including US nuclear-powered submarines that the US will dictate are to operate under US command off the coast of China.
