Not sure you can claim innocence if you have admitted committing the crime you are accused of.
With Giuliani being investigated for illegal activities, and Giuliani not being shy about saying he was doing Trump's bidding, this has the potential to put more pressure on Trump.
An interesting twist with Giuliani's investigation is that it has now opened up an additional investigation regarding National Security issues, (which could mean classified information has been shared with foreign entities).
