I can't spot any major difference except to say his remarks are directed against innocent passers/by. They are also generalised and hurtful to others not involved (eg. all women who perceive themselves as overweight).
My remarks, on the other hand, are directed mainly at him. Though I do accept that my remarks could be found offensive by others of the same ilk, I find it hard to believe a DH would be offended by someone pointing out that they're a DH.
In any case, I never claimed to be any better. In fact, I know for sure and certain that I'd be a lot worse given the right/wrong circumstances.
