For the first time in many years the Republicans hold the reins on all the three levels of power in their government.
But there has been open hostility prior to the election where the party basically disowned Trump and refused to financially back him.
So what do they do now, although the most powerful person in the country how can he actually achieve anything if the party machine does not vote for the changes and actions that Trump wants to take ?
He has his Executive Order options as Obama used to pass his Obama Care because he could not get it approved by the other two levels of government but how will it go down if he has to operate as a dictator to get things done ?
And to say that the Republican Party should show their gratitude for getting them there, that's not how politics are done, they don't like him so they will not support him, but how far can they go in the face of the public demands.

If I recall correctly, and a brief overview of Google results suggests that I am, Obamacare was passed not via Executive Order, but because the Democrats controlled (briefly) both Congress and Senate. Please correct me if I'm wrong though!
