The good news is quite a few of Mals backers were given the ass due to their treachery at the last election - little boy Wyatt, that slime Mal Brough, the dude from the seat of Eden Monaro etc etc.
Mal is currently in the invidious position of having to rely on the conservative base to prop him up ... yep the same conservative base that loath him and his left wing policies he's love to run with. He's on a very tight leash - thank goodness.
