Saudi Arabia - defensive troops - air forces/patriot missiles deployed to a long time ally with their invitation. The US presence should deter further Iranian attacks and hopefully stabilize the situation with no loss of US personnel. If handle correctly the troops can be reduced as the Saudi's take over their own defense.

Try and look at the situation without personal hate. Policy and actions are important, personality is not.
