Are you try to build a Chinese whisper network, didn't the "whistleblower" get his information from first hand accounts, and then he passed the information on in his report. A bit like what an investigator or police officer would do.
You must be fun at court hearings, 'Your honour, the prosecutor never saw the event, and is only supplying third hand knowledge to the court, that was relied upon by second hand knowledge given by the police'.
Doesn't matter who instigated the report, it relates to a serious crime that needs to be investigated. Reality is, the call was made by Trump and the words came out of Trump's mouth.
Releasing the full transcripts would resolve any issues about what transpired, so releasing only an edited version of the transcripts doesn't bode well for Trump being innocent.
