sorry - but there is something wrong with your logic - is trump going to legislate against solar/wind power generation???? mmmmmm ...... but if and when renewables can supply cheap, reliable power - then the transition will happen in usa as well. the proponents already claim that renewables are cheaper - well good if so - but let them be cheaper without subsidies, or extra imposts on fossil fuels
