The Republican party have never wanted Trump, as they are 100% involved in their own private business deals and he is basically anti establishment
Look at how the Republican Congress and the Senate which are both Republican controlled behave
If Trump was in a Westminster System he would have total control but as it works in their Republic he has very little actual power, more of a dogs breakfast but still there are people here who maintain it is a better system
