a review of Obamas foreign policy suggests his judgment was hopelessly wrong. Obama directly enabled Hamas, encouraged Qatari involvement and support for Hamas, and was soft on terror preferring appeasement. It was through him that Qatari funding of universities occurred and he enabled infiltration of Muslim brotherhood at the very time places like Saudi Arabia and UAE were coming down hard on it.
At that time tunnels were being dug by Hamas directly into Israel with evidence of them beneath kindergartens and civilian buildings in Israel.
Obama basically had no dammed idea what he was unleashing.
and yes whatever the useful idiots think, Israel is simply fighting for its right to exist. In every other war or conflict since 1948 some smart arse western governments and the US have intervened and stopped the job being finished. They haven’t had a clue what living in Israel involved. They passed judgment about the controls over Palestinians who wanted to work in Israel or cross borders with no understanding that Israelis were jacked of suicide bombers. They grizzle and gripe about Israel killing people in a war over the existence and excuse countless others wrecking havoc around the world
for once it seems the US isn’t going to interfere and instead a mealy mouthed macron whose own advisers have warned him about the threat of the Muslim brotherhood as a destructive influence thinks he is going to make the world a better place by interferrring.
