Hi Ausheds. Just last week the Chinese Govt SRB paid ABOVE mkt $181kg to take 450t DyO into stockpile.
That was on top of the 440t taken into storage just back in Jan 17. With demand so weak production has been running at just 25% capacity, why would anyone in China want any more, particularly in 52% concentrate?
But if any concentrate is actually purchased it certainly won't be valued on $181kg pricing basis because that is grossed up with 17% VAT, refundable to any domestic purchaser.
The NETT value is $181kg less $26kg (17%) = $155kg.
But the REALLY interesting one is the Govt charges a resource tax based on concentrate value set at 22% for HRE.
