I have been following Lynas since trumps executive order relating to Rare Earth Minerals. He saw semi conductor production in Taiwan as a risk and also China's strangle hold on Rare Earths it wasn't really taken too seriously until COVID and the weaknesses in the supply chain were amplified for all to see. If you follow Lynas's share price it was flat from the time of the Executive order and started it's rise during COVID. This is being driven in my belief by international and National interest in securing the supply of Advanced Chip manufacturing both by securing Silicon Valley West (Taiwan) and identifying alternative sources of Rare Earths. The Worlds Navy's Australia the USN, Germany, Britain, Japan, India are all spending capital in the South China Sea to secure Taiwan and I believe Lynas is part of the plan to secure the raw materials for production. This is my motivation for investing and I believe prices and electric vehicles are a red herring in the short term at least.
