As reality strikes I think Trump imo will continue to tone down
the past rhetoric and take the advice of the experts.
He has already backed down on torture saying he will
abide by his Pentagon chief who does not agree with it.
He may also water down the wall proposal as he realises
that just because he issues an Executive order that it must
happen. His orders can be challenged by Congress and
through the legal system and will not want to incur too
many challenges so probably will avoid getting into
those situations in the first place.
He apparently is going to increase the USA debt to
create jobs and that if it happens it may be a populist move
but its the type of thing Democrat or Labor govt’s would do
and would prove popular.
The Republicans may not be too happy about it nor the pundits
here, who constantly rail against stimulus spending.

Just who's been struck by reality here?
It's been yourself who has procaimed Trump the disaster and in less than 24hs you have done a 180 deg turn saying he will continue to tone down.
Surely you jest?
