The resentment is building up regardless on which side of politic's Dave because every low level pleb knows the system is wrong, but they can't point their finger on what to do.... instead the hate and resentment builds, while the police state grows. When you can't prosecute a wall street banker for obvious fraud or stop their outrageous greed or bonuses while the taxpayer picks up the tab for the mistakes they are unaccountable for. When they spend trillions on wars and the military, but cry poor when they have no money for fixing the dilapidated infrastructure, healthcare or the poisonous water they are forced to drink. When big business and the MIC can shift their money to tax havens and suck of the taxpayer dry while the small business is suffocated under red tape and higher tax rates on an unlevel playing field. When most of their disposable income is used to pay outrageous healthcare plans or they are forced to take their risk like a lottery to be healthy while junk food become a food staple for most under stagnant wages.
Yes Trump inherited this mess but sadly he has no clear strategy or capacity to improve the long-term trajectory, it just seems to be getting worse at a faster rate. Sure we can point to new job's but what are these jobs, who cares if the market is slightly up, this stuff is temporary or the data can easily be manipulated. We all know this from our own ABS data.
Fiddling around with the tax rates, doesn't really do much when the entire system needs to be radically overhauled so the plebs can have a real vote or say in the direction they want to take the nation. All this ANTIFA/BLM/KKK/Russia/immigration discussion is a distraction or a byproduct to keep us occupied away from bigger issues on fixing a system to have real representation of the community be it 'right' or 'left'. At the moment big business determines how the congressman is selected and how he votes, streams of money and lobby groups/foreign interests awash capital hill where only the rich, powerful and connected can run for congress or president. It either needs to crash and burn as others point out or we need someone with a backbone to make radical decisions to expand the franchise. Maybe it doesn't matter because the US will be drowned in a massive tsunami of debt, when no one wants to be the last man holding the bag.
