Many people would agree that Ron Paul was perhaps the last chance for America to turn the ship around from the impending rocks of destruction, decay and explosive collapse.

Clinton was the status quo or the ship going full steam to use the boat analogy further. Many like myself saw Trump as a possible lite Ron Paul, a "wild card" but with an anti liberal and authoritarian slant to arrest the impending disaster. I keep thinking "do something damn it" to stop this rot and Trump made some noises to this effect and hence his popularity the more certain sections of the media status quo attack him with bias.

The part's I liked about Trump was probably Bannon's influence that has a lot of Ron Paul qualities "drain the swap theme, no more war's and look after the little people" (I am being very general here).

Now we see the same all as Clinton and all the predecessors. More conflict, weapons, war and hypocrisy. It was a long shot and he is currently doing a lot of damage to his nation's reputation long-term that is based on an earlier bad precedence. Maybe it will change towards the end of term. A businessman than a politician can throw out what doesn't work and start again, but its looking increasingly unlikely.

We should all be sad with the current state of affairs that leads to numerous poor choice that had, Trump, Clinton, big business and socialist "free S### destructive candidates to choose from. Rand Paul maybe was a long shot but is a shadow of Ron

Perhaps the house needs to be burnt down and rebuilt.
