The 2nd amendment has been greatly misinterpreted from its meaning.
    It is:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Now, isn't a militia more than one person?
    The people is plural too.

So, it talks about a group.
And there are the words "well regulated"

    So what is well regulated?
Background and psychological would be a good start.
Then follow this up with technical capability training like getting a car licence at a minimum. All self paid for.

Now if there is a militia component to be enforced, why not insist on fitness and medical tests combined with monthly training. All paid for by the user again.

I like the 2nd amendment if interpreted in a strict manner.
