Putting on my Sherlock Holmes hat, I think the scenario is something along the following lines:
While the reserves and grades of Mo have always been as stated, the company has known that there are geological considerations that might make the project expensive or complicated. Thus they were probably expecting Hunan not to come to the party, and BTV sold part of its stake in anticipation of this.THR probably asked the Chinese not to mention any geological complications in case it scared off any other suitors. BUT, if there ARE geological complications it means that any other competent company will have second thoughts about getting into bed with THR as well.
I don't know whether the ASX query was related to my complaint to ASIC. On the ASIC form it states that they can take up to 28 days to deal with a complaint.
Interest in the U exploration programme will negate to a certain extent any weakness resulting from the Mo situation. In my opinion this may offer a timely and comparatively inexpensive way to exit any large holdings in the company. Like This_is_it, I sold most of mine, except for a token that may be a ticket for any U float. I shan't be buying back in until I'm sure that all problems have been resolved.
