    I don’t think people are that stupid.

    They know wind and solar farms are springing up in different parts of the country.

    They know the car they buy will probably have a smaller, more fuel efficient engine then the 10 year old model their trading in.

    They are at least aware of EVs, and whilst not on people’s shopping lists now, may be when they do their next trade in a few years from now.

    There’s a fair chance they’ve already installed solar panels on their roof.

    Can’t speak for other areas of the country, but if they were in Brisbane, they’ll probably notice the huge fleet of council buses advertising their greener credentials, the airport shuttle buses being all electric.

    They also know there are more green spaces available to people, cleaner waterways, urban renewal, recycling, a trend to reduce the use of disposable plastics, and more thoughtful packaging.

    Whether directly carbon related or not, it seems pretty clear that people are happy to be be embracing the cleaner, greener changes, are are more than happy to voluntarily participate in the process.

    It’s one of the reasons why there is no void to be filled by the hard green left....most people are already on the journey.
