Abbott was the single most destructive force ever in Aus politics, but Morrison beat him hands down in how to FarCup a nation.....

at last we have escaped the worsening destruction of the economy. Hopefully Albanese et al can do the repairs to the economy without too great an expense. but very likely the demands of repair will be great and so I won't expect the underlying numbers to look any good at least until 2024.

add on the costs of the improvements to the electricity grid, additional funding to replace the lost electricity production overseen by Taylor, increasing the money to aged care and NDIS, etc etc....

this is going to be a very expensive year or two.
