Tesla is selling them cheaper now and Hertz had bought them at the top of the pricing range. So it cost them. But they've had a few years like that and nearly went bankrupt in previous years. So to balance the books they are offloading some. But said they are committed to purchasing more in the future.

We all knew that 2024 was going to be a tough year. I said it last year and had expected this. But they are reporting that things should pick up late 2024. A lot of companies are letting people go and streamlining, not just carmakers.
