I do 10,000 klms a year and my Outlander uses about 8l pe 100 ks so that's about 800 litre @1.80 = $1440 per year for fuel

An Outlander ICE costs abour $42,000
An Outlander hybrid costs about $20,000 more.

It would take me about 14 years to ammortize the extra cost - not allowing for power used to charge at home or fuel used with hybrid
