re: truth and the big lie-oil I got a shock when I went to buy a tin of paint that I regularly buy...big hike in price. However, if the oil price rise feeds into the community and interest rates stay low as a result, we may get away with it. It will call for economies in the manufacture of products and use of materials. I guess the jury is still out as to how much we can accomodate the rise in raw materials without labour rises or job losses.
