I guess the point here is that even words from the horse's mouth (JH) can be used as up/down ramping. The only thing you can really do is to do your due diligence at the time of receiving said information.

If the company is a sinking ship and the CEO/senior management say things that are in contrary to the current situation, then obviously take their words with a truckload of salt.

However, since CTP is still in it's early stages and optomism, I think JH is just telling it as it is from his own viewpoint. I don't think JH would be going out of the way to mislead people. Obviously after the last announcement people may have misinterpreted the outcome.

JH has his job to do, and has to be careful as to any unofficial information he can leak when answering the many questions he receives.
