    "Downramping" - rb (adverb)

To push negative sentiment onto a stock, particularily via a social media platform, in order to have stockholders sell at a low price. This may be done maliciously, for entertainment, to buy undervalued shares, or to close out a short-position. They may also do so to try and educate others to stop them from losing vast sums of money, but these individuals are few and far between.

Also the go-to word for Hot Copper'ites who haven't done their homework, are deeply in the red and have entered "ostrich mode" (head in the sand, bum in the air). "Downrampers" are immediately shouted down by bullish stockholders who do not like the reality of their situation being pointed out to them, or their echo chamber bubble being burst. They especially hate charts, labelling them "voodoo", "chicken entrails", or "dark magic".

Example: "That downramper was terrible on 1PG today, but I still bought a million shares to show him whose boss!"

Have a great day, matey potatey
