I've been out of TRY for a while and am thinking of diving back in now.
Long term this purchase looks to be a brilliant move.
Why doesn't the market like it? My take is that TRY shareholders just gave up half of their great little company for a great prospect ... but that is just it ... a prospect ... no resources proved up! Giving up half the company on a wing and a prayer is a high risk strategy.
Let me say again, long term I think it looks like a great purchase ... but dividends just got halved as did EPS etc in the short term.
