In 2019 there were in excess of 4100 deaths due to the flu and associated pneumonia. Mainly over 86 years old.
To have had 5,000 deaths in Australia from COVID, you would have had to have 20,000 people ending up in ICU over a 12 month period. ( about 25% of people dont make it out of ICU)
And to have 20,000 ending up in ICU , you would need at least 5 times that numer ending up in hospital, ie 100,000.
( about 1 in 5 people who get hospitalized due to covid end up in ICU)
Now, your chances of ending up in hospital im the first place is about 5% chance once you contract covid.
So about 2,000,000 people have to get sick so that you get 100,000 hospitalizations.
All this is in one year mind you.
And if you look at 2 years , then you would have to have had 4,000,000 cases !!!!.
You would not get that in Australia , no way.!
Not even if you had no lockdowns and nobody vaccinated.
So we went through all this over the last 2 years for what exactly??
