Another quick google shows I was on the money and we haven't even seen the heavy electric SUV's take a serious market share of the EV market.
From its testing, the most efficient EVs achieve ratings of 15kWh/100km, where an average is represented as 20kWh/100km.8 June 2022

And it will take years for EV's to displace ICE's ... well funny thing is that there is few clowns around who oppose nuclear energy based on the time it will take to build those plants.
If we are going to need reliable extra carbon neutral electricity on our grid why not start the process to build nuclear gen now to cover these requirements? Less concrete, copper, steel required per gw of gen over life of plant too.
