We are going for a Red Earth "Sunrise" system, you can start with as little as 4.1 kWh and expand it without changing the box. They are based in Brisbane, have been established for 10 years and have an 8 year warranty. Payback period for a correctly sized system is about 7 years. They use Lithium batteries, I like the idea of flow batteries but for a small system they are still fairly expensive and their round trip efficiency can't match Lithium yet. Ours will be costing around $15K including a smart inverter, we already have the panels.
